Our GemMala's are not your average mala. They are made with high quality gems, blessed with elevated vibrational energy and created with intention. It's important to place your GemMala in a safe and sacred place when not wearing it, such as an alter, in your mesh bag or in a padded box. Although you are free to use your GemMala as you wish, we recommend that you not emerge it in water, or wear it to a hot yoga class, to prolong its master craftsmanship. It's also recommended that you energetically cleanse your GemMala by smudging it with a bundle of white sage or palo santo stick, sage spray, place it on a selenite crystal or cleanse during a full moon. If your GemMala has a silk tassel it's recommended that you place it on a window seal during the full moon to prevent your tassel from warping.
